Hackwithinfy is a coding contest organized by one of the biggest IT services company Infosys. The good thing about this contest is you can get a job at Infosys by just clearing coding rounds and technical interview, and you don’t need to prepare for Aptitude and Reasoning which is very common for other service-based companies even if you compete through Infytq exam of Infosys you have to prepare those topics.
Coding Contest
Total no of Rounds: 2.
Round 1:
- No of coding Questions: 3.
- Time: 180 Mins.
- Level: Easy to Hard.
- Related Topics: Geometry, Arrays, String manipulation, Number Theory, Greedy, Bst.
- Marks distribution: Q1- 50 points, Q2- 75 points, Q3- 100 points.
- No of Questions Solved: 2 (Ques- 1 and 2) .
- Result: Passed.
Note: Try to solve the first two questions as one of them is easy or easy-medium and the other one is a medium problem. You will easily qualify for round 2 if you can solve 2 questions or can solve at least 1 completely and 1 partially.
Round 2:
- No of coding Questions: 3.
- Time: 180 Mins.
- Level: Easy to Hard.
- Related Topics: Arrays, String manipulation, Greedy, DP.
- Marks distribution: Q1- 50 points, Q2- 75 points, Q3- 100 points.
- No of Questions Solved: (Ques- 1 complete, Ques- 2 partially, Ques- 3 partially).
- Result: Passed.
Note: You can get an interview offer for SES profile if you get around 100 points but if you get more than 125-130 points and your rank is very good i.e you are one of the top performers then you will get an offer for Power Programmer role, and you will make to the final round. In my case, I got an Interview offer for an SES profile.
Technical/Hr Interview:
- Hr Interview Questions Topics: Introduction, Aim, About Infosys, Area of Interest.
- Technical Interview Topics( level ):
- Programming languages– At least one object-oriented programming language.
- Oops– Deep.
- Dbms– Medium.
- Computer Networking– Basics.
- Data Structures– stack, link list, graph, Sorting techniques.
- Sdlc: Basics.
- Coding questions: Easy to Medium.
- Other: Pointers, Machine Learning.
Note: Above mentioned topics are related to my Interview experience some topics may vary from others.
Result: Shortlisted for the SES profile at Infosys.
