How to Fix a Missing Wi-Fi Option in Windows 11?

Windows 11 are the latest update of the Microsoft operating system. After Windows 10, Windows 11 are the most important & widely used operating system in the world. This operating system is widely famous for its appearance. This helps to attract more users to it. Also, it has a front-face style. But having all those features doesn’t make a complete operating system. Sometimes there are some problems are arriving with this operating system.  Missing the Wi-Fi option in Windows 11 is one of the issues in the Windows 11 operating system. Generally, we have to click on the shortcut icon of the Wi-Fi. This helps to start the internet connection in the device. But sometimes this icon is disappearing from the machine. This is happening as there is an internet caching issue. The device is strong, some caching flies in the icon. This is the reason for disappearing the icon over the Toolbar. We can suppose to get a new update in Windows 11 that will eradicate the issue.

Restart Windows OS and Check Wi-Fi Settings;

If you can’t find your Wi-Fi settings, restart your Surface (don’t shut it down) and check your Wi-Fi settings again. Follow the given steps below:



If the Wi-Fi setting is displayed, Select [Wi-Fi] and confirm that Wi-Fi is set to [on]. The network name is displayed on the list of available wireless networks. Select a network and select Connection.

Fixing The Missing Wi-Fi Option In Windows 11:

Step 1: First, we need to open the Settings of the Windows 11 device. There, on the left-hand side, some options are present. Among them, we have to choose the Network & internet options. In this option, we will get more options related to Wi-Fi.



 

Step 2: Then a new tab will open. There, on the right-hand side, we have to search for Advanced Network Settings. We have to scroll down the page to get the option. After getting the option, we need to click on that.

 

Step 3: Then again a new tab will open. There we can see an option for Wi-Fi. On that option, there will be a Disable button. We have to click on the Disable button. This will disable the Wi-Fi settings in that device.

 

Step 4: Now, after disabling the Wi-Fi, there will be an option called Enable. We have to click on that. This will again enable the Wi-Fi settings in the device.

 

This complete process is just like restarting the Wi-Fi. As there are problems related to the caching, restarting the Wi-Fi will help to remove all the cache from the system. This process might follow from time to time. It can occur when there are a large number of junk present.

Step 5: Now, after completing the process, we can open the shortcut to select Wi-Fi. Now, we can see the Wi-Fi option is back again. And it will connect to the present internet connection automatically.

 

Hence, we have successfully fixed the Wi-Fi option in Windows 11.
