Animations are used for a number of purposes like entertainment, advertisement, business, etc so animators use different types of tools but the most effective and efficient software is Flash. It makes the process of animation effortless and also saves time using functionalities like symbols through which older animation components can be easily used in the new ones without having to make them again. Eye Blink Animation
Animating eye blink is very important in flash projects as each and every character performs this animation by blinking eyes. Eye blinking also helps in showing aliveness to the character and also reveals the emotions of the character so we should know how to create eye blinking animation. For this we need a vector image of eyes, you can download the image from the internet or can create your own image, I am using a self create an image. Follow the below steps to learn eye blinking animation.
Step 1: Open a new project in Adobe Flash.
Step 2: Import a vector image of eyes on the stage.
Step 3: Convert the image to a graphic symbol.
Step 4: Double click to enter into the symbol.
Step 5: Now select the different parts and distribute them to different layers.
Step 6: Now we have different parts on separate layers so name these layers accordingly.
Step 7: Insert a keyframe at frame 25.
Step 8: Now make a different shape of eyelids so that it looks like the character is closing the eyes.
Step 9: Leave a frame and then insert a keyframe and make a new shape of eyelids closing the eyes more than half.
Step 10: Again leave a frame and then insert a keyframe and make a new shape of eyelids closing the eyes completely.
Step 11: Leave two frames and select all the frames and paste them next to previous frames now to reverse the animation, right-click, and select the reverse keyframe option.
Step 12: Double click to come out from the symbol to the main stage and then insert a frame at frame 200.
Step 13: Now press the run button to see the animation.
Congratulations your eye blinking animation is ready. Now press Ctrl + Enter to see the output of the animation. Here is the output video of Eyes blinking.
