It was an on-campus opportunity with the following rounds-

Rounds

One of the coding questions was very easy with only 3 test cases. Here is the question – https://www.hackerrank.com/challenges/birthday-cake-candles/problem

The second one was pretty hard and I was not able to solve it although one test cased passed and earned me some points.

The assessment was proctored.

Tip – There were a lot of questions and the easiest ones were in the last section(core subjects) but time was running out by that time and it was a really scoring section. So make sure you do not waste a lot of time in the initial sections.

Note – A lot of importance was given to the score of this round all through the interview process, so the more you score, the better are the chances of getting selected.

Round 2 – GD Round

74 students made it to this round.

The round was conducted by 2 HRs. Students were called in groups of 8-10 where we all had to give our introductions one by one. After this, we were given a topic and 2 minutes of time to think about it post which the GD round started.

Our topic was – AI, a boon or bane.

Tip – Make sure to thoroughly prepare your introduction. Also, during the GD, try to speak at least around 3 times but in a healthy way.

Round 3 – Technical + HR Interview

The scores of GD Round were not individually counted but all of the 74 students were given the chance to appear for the interview. However, the students were segregated as such-

1. The ones who performed well in the GD Round, had to appear in only one interview ( technical + HR) at once.

2. For others, the technical and HR interviews were conducted in 2 rounds by two HRs.

I was in the first category.

The HR was really nice and made me feel comfortable. She went through my resume and started with basic questions like –

Then, she moved on to the technical round where she asked questions like-

Finally, she asked –

Tip – The HR is just another human being and you can even ask her to ask a different question in case you don’t remember something due to lack of revising. Just be confident and that will cover the negatives.

Round 4 – F2F

Around 16 students made it to this round. We were called to the company premises for a F2F interview with the CHRO of the company. These are the questions he asked-

After this, we received a mail from the company in around 3 days informing us that we have been selected. Around 9 students were finally selected.

Tip – Do not try to mug up all the concepts and questions, it’s seriously no use, they just ask anything random. Confidence and communication is more important here.
