Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronic Communication System Engineering/Electronics & Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate or CGPA of 6.75 on 10 point scale.
Guru Nanak Dev University provides two courses related to B.Tech in Computer Science:-
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Computer Engineering
Entrance Examination
- For Computer Science and Engineering, it is mandatory to give JEE Mains Exam.
- For Computer Engineering, the university holds its own Entrance Exam which contains questions related to PCM.
Registration in any of the above courses is to be done by creating a Login ID and Password through the official Guru Nanak Dev University website. Registration fees is to be paid depending upon the selected course. Application forms and other important documents should be prepared for the counseling process.
Counselling Process
For B.Tech the following documents in original need to be produced by the candidate at the time of counselling:
- Hard copy (printed version) of the online application form filled by the candidate in
- triplicate along with three sets of attested photocopies of the following documents
- Detailed marks sheet of +2 or equivalent examination
- (Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate bearing testimony to date of birth
- Reservation certificate as applicable
- Residence certificate
- (Character certificate from the Principal of the college/school last attended
- JEE(Main)-2023 Admit Card
- EE(Main)-2023 Score/Rank Card
- Two recent passport-size photographs duly attested by the Principal of the
- College/School last attended.
- Migration and Eligibility Certificate in case of candidates from other
- University/Boards
Document Verification
Prior to document verification, students are required to seat according to their JEE Mains ranks, the higher-ranked students being given preference to select their desired subject. If a student’s preferred seat is still available after the document verification process, it is assigned to them.
Payment of fees and Admission Confirmation:-
The last step is paying the fees; our seat is only verified after that. We are added to the official student group as soon as the payment is made so that we can receive updates on the beginning of our classes and other related information.
