Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) simply IP University is a public state university in the land of India in Delhi. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University owes its name to the tenth Nanakta (Guru), the great Sikh Guru often dubbed the embodiment of human knowledge. It was set up in 1998 by the Government of Delhi, through a unique special act called the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998.
