EY-GDS Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Recently EY was on-campus hiring for their GDS(Global Delivery Services) Role.

The experience was good and Level of exam Was medium.

There were a Total of 3 rounds.

Round 1(Coding Round): There were 3 sections in this round.

1. Aptitude
2. Logical and verbal
3. 2coding questions.

There were 30 questions each in the Aptitude and Logical section that were to be solved in 30 mins each section.

You cannot go back to any question once attempted.

Then 2 coding questions which Easy based on array and hashing concept.

Round 2(Managerial Interview): ON HIREVIEW PLATFORM.

• This was just about behavior and Your goals and aspirations.
• This was taken on Hireview platform.

Round 3(Technical Interview): The interviewer was Calm and he asked mostly questions related to my project i.e. the concept on which I made my projects

• Then he asked Some DBMS questions on Normalization and Constrains, How i will work on more than 1 database ensuring good design of database.
• This was enough to satisfy him.
• and he asked some basic questions after that on OS.
• Some decision-making questions and situations and how would i solve them.

Finally

• My experience was good. It was not hard to get this. Everything was in between easy to mid.
• Although some students were questioned hard. it depends on the interviewer.
• It didn’t felt that the package they hired for and the level of toughness of the test matched.

still anyways.

• The concluding Tips would be To take care of your spoken English as many students were not selected due to that.
• Explain your projects in detail.
• Read DBMS and OS.
• practice Aptitude and Logical as the time limit was less and there was a constraint that we cannot go back to an attempted question. That would get you through the process.
