I interviewed at CloudKaptan from 8th March to 16th April 2024 and finally got selected as a Software Developer Trainee. There were around 6-7 rounds in the total interview process.
1. Resume shortlisting
2. Online Assessments 1 & 2
3. Technical Interview 1
4. Technical Interview 2
5. Final in-office round(Includes 1-2 technical rounds and an HR round)
Round 1: Resume shortlisting of eligible candidates. Once you go past this, you’ll be facing the OA round.
Round 2: In the Online Assessment round, we had several aptitude-based questions then if you get past this round, you’ll be facing 15 coding questions(5 among which were MCQs- find the output type) and you’ve to solve them in 1.5 hours. Don’t get overwhelmed with this, coz if you clear this round the main process starts!
Round 3: In Technical Interview 1, I was asked deeply about core JAVA. It was an interview of around 1 hour in which I was asked to do 2 codes sharing my screen. Both the codes were leetcode medium level.
Round 4: In Technical Interview 2, The interview was again of around 1hr 15mins. Concepts related to OOPS, core Java, and computer science basics were asked. Then I had to solve 2 coding questions again. Fortunately, I could do both.
Round 5: Once you clear both the online technical interview rounds. You’ll be called to their office. I honestly never thought they’d give us to write codes again. This time on pen and paper. This code was similar to the “Stock Buy and Sell II” problem on Leetcode. Once I was done explaining the code, they gave me another code. It was a spiral matrix code which is again leetcode medium. Solved this as well They won’t let you sit idle so they started asking theoretical questions and about my experience.
Round 6: Finally once you’re done with all these… You’ll be having the HR round with the Vice President of the company. Some behavioral questions were asked.
Finally received the congratulations mail on 18th April, and fortunately, we had our joining on 23rd of April.
The office and the people there are wonderful. They only select a very few. The best among the lot, they say… So, the interview process is quite long, but once you are through… It’s so pleasing!
ALL THE BEST TO WHOSOEVER IS PREPARING FOR A SDE ROLE CONTINUE DOING WHAT YOU ARE ALREADY DOING. BE HONEST TO YOURSELF AND MAKE THE PREPARATION A HABIT. ACHIEVEMENTS WILL JUST BE CHECKPOINTS.
