Airports Authority of India Entrance Exam Experience for Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control)

The above-mentioned post’s entrance exam is conducted by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The entrance exam conducted by AAI took place on 27th December 2023. This entrance exam requires candidates from either a BSc background with Physics and Mathematics as the subjects that must be there in their graduation or they require BTech graduates (in any discipline) and with Physics and Mathematics as the subjects in one of their semesters.

So, this entrance exam registration process started on 1st November and ended on 30th November 2023. The Airports Authority of India judges the candidates who appear for this exam in the areas of English, General Intelligence/ Reasoning, General Aptitude/ Numerical Ability, and General Knowledge/ Awareness. This all was Part-A exam details. There is also Part B in this exam. So, Part B consists of 60 questions which are from Physics and Mathematics that you have studied in your 12th class. So, that’s why I mentioned Physics and Mathematics as one of the subjects at the start of this article. Also, you can see that knowledge of Physics and Mathematics in your 12th class is required, which means that Arts or Commerce students can’t apply for this post.

Now, the marking scheme for Part A goes like this:

The marking scheme for Part B is:

Both these sections have 50% weightage i.e. 50% weightage of Part A + 50% weightage of Part B is equal to 100%. So, you cannot take one part lightly and another part seriously. You have to give equal weightage to both parts in order to clear the exam successfully. Also, this entrance exam has only one stage that the candidates have to pass. After you have cleared the first stage, then the only thing that is left is the Document Verification, Medical Test or Voice Test, and other such tests that different organizations conduct.

By the way, I forgot to mention other important details. So, the time duration of this exam is 120 minutes (2 hours). The medium of this exam is Hindi as well as English (Bilingual). The exam is of 120 marks with 120 questions of 1 mark each. There is no negative marking in this exam. If you want to prepare for this exam, first complete your syllabus thoroughly and then start giving mock tests. Give as many mock tests as possible. Buy test series that consists of previous year papers, full-length mock tests, sectional mock tests, etc. Mock tests are the only thing that tells you where you stand, how much is your preparation for the entrance, how much more you have to prepare for a particular topic, and so on.

So, in the end, I would just say that focus on your studies, and give equal time to your college exams as well as entrance exams (If you are a college student). Take 7-8 hours of sleep, watch out for your health, eat healthy food, and give your best shot in the entrance exam for which you are appearing.

Best of Luck!
