In this article, we are going to discuss how we can modify the background in WordPress posts/pages.
Background in WordPress: WordPress allows users to add and modify background images, background colors, and background opacity.
Let’s see the steps to modify the background in WordPress easily and quickly.
Step 1: Go to the WordPress login panel and try to log into the WordPress Dashboard by providing the username and password. To access the login panel, you can add /wp-login.php at the end of your website URL.

After login into WordPress, you will be able to see a dashboard like the one below.
Step 2: We have to search and open the background.
From the menu option on the left side of the WordPress site, there are many options. Go to the Appearance >> Background.
After clicking on background, you will see a similar page like this:
Step 3: Now you just need to click on the Colors & Background to modify, you will see a similar page like shown in the screenshot:
Background Color: In this section, you can change the background color by selecting the different colors and palettes.
Background Image: You can also change the background image in this theme by selecting the ‘Select Image’ button.
After clicking on the button, you can select the image from the Media Library or upload files (refer to WordPress Add media)
After selecting the image, a similar page will look like the following.
Background Pattern: You can also change the background pattern in this theme by selecting the pattern from ‘Pick a Background Pattern‘ section.
Click on the ‘Save Changes‘ button once background details are updated.
