Western Union Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Round 1:- Online Test

In an online test, there were a total of 59 questions (58 MCQs and 1 coding question), with a duration of 90 minutes allotted for completion. The test included 30 aptitude questions and 28 computer science fundamentals questions, with a moderate difficulty level.

Round 2:-Technical Interview

This round lasted for 35-40 minutes and consisted of the following questions:



  1. Tell me about yourself.
  2. Questions about my projects.
  3. Check whether the string is a palindrome or not.
  4. Explain the four pillars of OOPS.
  5. Differentiate between method overloading and method overriding.
  6. Explain the difference between the GET and POST methods.
  7. SQL-related questions, including simple queries on WHERE, ORDER BY, and primary keys, as well as explaining DDL and DML commands.

Round 3:- HR Interview

This round lasted for 15-20 minutes and consisted of the following questions:

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. Describe your family.
  3. Why do you want to join Western Union?
  4. Discuss the values upheld by Western Union.
  5. Where do you envision yourself in the next 3 years?
  6. Answer some general questions about your hobbies.

Tips:



  1. Avoid lying on your resume.
  2. Ensure clarity in your understanding of CS fundamentals.
  3. Most importantly, be confident during the interview.
