I applied for an assistant web developer in USOM IT company. After selection for this role, I didn’t join, for higher education that was MCA. but yet I can share my experience because I have felt every process with curiosity like you are feeling now. I am telling you what I have experienced. Are you confused that you are not able to get a job after BCA? do you think that there is no BCA-level job? then you are wrong. I also thought this type of silly question, but I have explored more about it. I have got two or three interview calls. let me tell you which things I have experienced during my interview and you have to remember. I am telling you the step-by-step process.
Find Platform
First, make an account on job-finding applications or sites like LinkedIn, Internshala, naukri.com, indeed, and all.
Apply For Job
I apply to every job, every internship, for every role. don’t wait for a high-paying job for a BCA student. After doing 1 year of the job, you will able to get high packages in the same company or another company. so apply on every site for every job. but you have to remember that, you should apply only for a startup company. because they need an employee with low CTC. CTC stands for the cost to the company. so they hire you if you are ready to work with minimum CTC.
Getting call
After applying for the job, you will get an email or call from the company. you have to be attentive after applying for any role. because if they have a high number of applicants then they will call to others instead of wasting time on you. so get a call or mail and reply fast. they will ask you if are you ready for the next process of interview on a specific date. so tell them according to your work schedule. I will suggest you that don’t extend their date.
Interview First Process
I am telling you what I had experienced. every company follow their process of interview. but average companies follow the same rule that I am telling you. they will ask you about your skills and many basic questions related to your job and the skills that you have written in your resume. this is not the on-campus higher study placement so they will not ask for an aptitude round. In an average company, they will just ask basic questions.
Interview Second Process
I am telling you what I had experienced. if you get feedback or mail that you are selected for the second step then they will tell you the date of the next phase of the interview. in the second phase, they will ask you about coding and maybe they give you an error to find it and solve it. overall it is all about technical questions and it is a technical round.
Interview Third Process
if you are selected in the above round then they will arrange a meeting. In the meeting, they will discuss your basic payment and perks and all. if you have any doubts related to payment and salary, you can solve your query in this process. After you make a statement, they will send you an offer letter and a joining letter.
My Feedback
That was my experience. I am not telling you that this is compulsory to follow these steps for every company. my intention to share this experience is to not feel sad that there is no scope after BCA only.
