Sopra Banking solution visited our college, IMS Engineering College for conducting Recruitment Drive for “Engineer Trainee Role”.
Eligibility Criteria: Eligible Criteria- Average percentage of 10th & 12th should be 80% and 70% in B.Tech (no active backlogs)
Selection Process –
Round 1(Technical Online Test): The first round comprised of 30 MCQ questions including 15 questions from DBMS and 15 questions from Data structures (linked list mostly), OOPs, C/C++ output-based questions etc.
- This round was of 50 minutes and there was no negative marking. It was held at hackerearth platform.
- After completing the test you will get a confirmation mail on your registered email address for successful completion.
Round 2(Offline Aptitude Online Test): For the shortlisted students from Round 1 this round was held at IMS Engineering college.
- Aptitude round comprised of 11 flow chart-based fill in the bank questions, with no options provided.

- This was a pool campus drive. Out of 151 students only 23 were able to make it to next round.
Round 3 (HR Interview): This was non eliminating round, lasted for about 10-15 minutes. In this HR asked questions like-
- HR- Tell me a brief introduction about yourself?
- HR- Asked me about my non technical achievements?
- HR- The language in which i code and do i know JAVA Language ?
- HR- why sopra?
- HR- Asked about my internship?
- HR- Any questions?
Round 4(Technical Interview): This round took 30 minutes. I received a mail regarding the interview a day prior. Interviewer asked questions like:
- Introduce yourself
- Explain about the projects you have worked on.
- Advantages and Drawbacks of Nodejs.(since my project was based on it)
- What about your internship?
- Which languages do you know . Do you know java ?
- What is oops?
- Asked me 2 analytical puzzles
