Requirements:– C++/JAVA (Any Competitive Programming Language), DSA, Operating System.
Eligibility Criteria:– B.E/B.Tech (CSE/IT/ECE/EEE)
CGPA: 7.00 and above (throughout career 70% including 10th & 12th)
I appeared in the on-campus placement of Samsung R & D Institute Noida in December 2021 at the Birla Institute Of Technology, Mesra.
It was a total of 4 rounds of process:
ROUND 1 [Resume Shortlisting]
The standard resume shortlisting round is based on skills, achievements, and CGPA. They tried to shortlist those candidates who are good in DSA as an MNC he will mainly focus on DSA.
ROUND 2 [Online Coding Test]
Conducted on the Cocubes platform, this round featured 3 questions on Data Structures & Algorithms: a basic array question, a medium-level Linked list question, and a dynamic programming question. I solved two questions within one and a half hours and progressed to the next round. Seven candidates were selected for the subsequent round.
ROUND3 [Technical Interview]
The interview began with a project discussion lasting around 5 minutes. Following that, I was given a basic data structure question to find the Longest Subsequence. The interviewer also asked 5-6 basic Operating System questions and presented a puzzle. I successfully solved the coding questions and answered most Operating Systems and DBMS questions, impressing the interviewer with my response to the puzzle. I advanced to the next round along with 4 other candidates.
ROUND 4 [HR Interview]
This round commenced with casual conversation and questions about the future scope and the team. All 5 candidates cleared the HR round effortlessly.
