numpy.ma.MaskedArray class
is a subclass of ndarray designed to manipulate numerical arrays with missing data. With the help of Numpy MaskedArray.__ipow__ we can get all the elements powered with the value that is provided as a parameter in MaskedArray.__ipow__() method.
Syntax: numpy.MaskedArray.__ipow__(other)
Return: Raise self to the power other, in place.
Example #1 :
In this example we can see that every element get powered with the value that is provided as a parameter in MaskedArray.__ipow__() method.
# import the important module in python import numpy as np
# make an array with numpy gfg = np.ma.array([ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ])
# applying MaskedArray.__ipow__() method print (gfg.__ipow__( 3 ))
|
Output:
[ 1 8 27 64 125]
Example #2:
# import the important module in python import numpy as np
# make an array with numpy gfg = np.ma.array([[ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ],
[ 6 , 5 , 4 , 3 , 2 ]])
# applying MaskedArray.__ipow__() method print (gfg.__ipow__( 2 ))
|
Output:
[[ 1 4 9 16 25] [36 25 16 9 4]]
