cMath module contains a number of functions which is used for mathematical operations for complex numbers. The cmath.asin() function returns the arc sine value of a complex number. The value passed in this function can be int, float, and complex numbers.
Syntax: cmath.asin(x)
Parameter:This method accepts only single parameters.
- x :This parameter is the value to be passed to asin()
Returns:This function returns the arc sine value of a complex number.
Below examples illustrate the use of above function:
Example #1 : In this example we can see that by using cmath.asin() method, we are able to get the values of arc sine by passing any value to it.
# Python code to implement # the asin()function # importing "cmath" # for mathematical operations import cmath
# using cmath.asin() method val = cmath.asin( 3 )
print (val)
|
Output:
(1.5707963267948966+1.762747174039086j)
Example 2:
# Python code to implement # the asin()function # importing "cmath" # for mathematical operations import cmath
# using cmath.asin() method val = cmath.asin( 2 + 5j )
print (val)
|
Output:
(0.374670804825527+2.3830308809003258j)
