I applied off-campus in Pickrr through LinkedIn for the role of Software Developer – I (Backend)
Round 1: First round was a written technical test organized on hackerrank. It comprised of 3 coding questions with a duration of 3 hours. Questions were relatively easy to medium on toughness metric, and tested core understanding of basic concepts of Data Structures.
- 1st question was on the same lines as classic water logging problem . I am giving the link for a similar problem – https://leetcode.com/problems/trapping-rain-water/
- 2nd was simple dynamic programming question . https://leetcode.com/problems/climbing-stairs/
- Last question was based on linked list. Simply the problem required to reverse a linked list in groups of given size.
Round 2: Second round was a video conferencing round.
- The interviewer asked questions based on python. Then, they asked me about my Bachelor Term Project which was based on developing a ML driven HCR (Handwritten Character Recognition ) system.
- The interviewer went deep into the project and asked about nuances of AI/ML applications. Then there were questions from my 2nd project, which was based on sorting algorithms. They made sure I had my core concepts clear.
Round 3: Third round was also a video conference round.
- Round started with questions on OOPS with their real world examples.
- Then, there was a discussion on my BTP. Interviewer asked questions related to graph algorithms like kadane’s algorithm. He modified it slightly and help me throughout to reach the correct solution.
Round 4: Round 4 was basically HR round. They asked some basic questions and after couple of days, I was informed that I have been selected for the role.
