Pan Card Correction Process

1. Online Correction Process

  2. Select ‘Change/Correction in PAN card details‘.
  3. Enter your PAN card number and other details.
  4. Choose the correction you need to make. You can correct various details like name, address, date of birth, father’s name, or photograph.
  5. Upload the required documents. These typically include proof of the correction you’re making (e.g., new address proof for address correction).
  6. Pay the processing fee. The fee varies depending on the correction you’re making.
  7. Submit the application. You’ll receive an acknowledgment number for tracking your application status.
  8. Your updated PAN card will be dispatched to your registered address within 15-20 working days.

2. Offline Correction Process

  2. Fill out the form carefully.
  3. Attach the required documents.
  4. Submit the form and documents at any nearest PAN Service Centre.
  5. Pay the processing fee.
  6. You’ll receive an acknowledgment slip. Keep this slip for future reference.
  7. The NSDL PAN Service Unit will process your application and send your updated PAN card to your registered address within 15-20 working days.
