Hi Everyone I hope you all are working in the direction of achieving your aim and going well.
I recently got a chance to interview with Microsoft this July. I got this opportunity by applying to the Microsoft Engage’22 Program.
My Interview started with an introductory question “TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF”. In response to this, I Introduced myself along with my hobbies and Technical knowledge. The interviewer asked some counter questions about the knowledge of my Tech Stack.
Then He asked about my Engage Project and asked some project-related questions(which I was able to answer confidently). Then he started with putting coding questions, and asked a question from the topic “string”.
The question was to find the Longest Substring without any repeating characters.
- I was able to think of the brute force solution in 4-5 minutes and I explained it to him.
- Then, he asked me to optimize it and after around 5-7 minutes along with some hints, I was able to crack the better approach.
- After that, he asked me to think of a Linear Time Complexity Solution about which I thought for 5-10 mins but was unable to crack it.
And, because the interview was scheduled for only 45 mins duration he said that It was OK as I was able to give the brute force as well as better approach and asked Whether I have any questions to ask in response to which I asked some questions.
So, This was my Interview experience.
RESULT: REJECTED
