Hello everyone, Micron visited our campus on August 28th, 2020 for full-time roles for the 2021 graduating batch.
Round 1: Written-test includes four sections
- Aptitude and logical reasoning
- Problem-solving (Output type question)
- Data Science related (As per your role)
- Circuit, Semiconductor, and electronics (As per your role)
Round 2: Technical Interview (30 min) for me it was 45 min
- Initially, I was asked questions about myself and the work I had done, then projects I did.
- Why did you apply for this Position?
- Technologies that you are familiar with.
- Describe one of your Project (what technology u used, explained in depth)
- The algorithm used in Project
- One coding question (Intermediate)
- Asked SQL concept
- Asked 5-6 SQL queries (based on group by, order by, having, joins, aggregation function)
- one of those was -: you have to find all canceled, received, on_the_way products and their total cost.
- Basic python questions
- One problem based on central tendency (He gave me one array and asked me which measure u apply
- Basic big data concepts
- Why do u like ML?
- Supervised v/s unsupervised learning
- Basics of Big data & Hadoop
Round 3: Managerial + HR (30 min)
- Started with introduction
- Project in deep (10 minutes)
- How was your first round? to make me comfortable.
- Tell your area of interest
- Any idea about big data or Hadoop
- How was your experience NIT TRICHY?
- Do you want to join for big data role?
- What is teamwork according to you?
- Some questions based on company
- Your strength and weaknesses?
- Do u have any questions?
- Some normal chit-chat
I really enjoyed both rounds
