Hey everyone, I couldn’t wait to tell you about my incredible journey at Lakshmi Narain College of Technology in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh! LNCT, lovingly known as the heart of innovation, welcomed me with open arms when I joined in 2018. Established in 1993 by the visionary Kalchuri Educational Trust, this private engineering college has been a magnet for bright young minds from all over India.
Stepping onto the magnificent 100-acre campus, I felt a rush of excitement. The five splendid buildings housing academics and research centers were awe-inspiring. From the well-equipped tutorial rooms to the buzzing lecture halls, every corner echoed with the thirst for knowledge. The digital library and Internet lab were havens for information seekers like me, and the digital classrooms made learning a dynamic experience.
But it’s not just academics that set LNCT apart; it’s a vibrant hub of activities and experiences. Sports enthusiasts reveled in the playground, while cultural events at the grand auditorium ignited the stage with energy. The camaraderie among students and faculty fostered a warm, inclusive environment where everyone felt at home.
I was proud to be part of a college that has earned accolades like being awarded the Best Institute of Bhopal by CMAI and obtaining NBA Accreditation. And the recognition doesn’t stop there – LNCT is ranked AIR 184 by NIRF, Ministry of Education, Government of India, and secured the 74th position among engineering colleges in India by Outlook India in 2018.
The Training and Placement department at LNCT deserves applause, for securing MOUs with esteemed companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd., and Oracle. The list of significant recruiters reads like a who of the corporate world, making us feel confident about our future.
Beyond academics, LNCT thrives with vibrant clubs and activities. From the esteemed NCC and NSS to the thrilling LNCT Coders Group (LCG), every interest finds a home here. Technical festivals like SRISHTI and Techno SRIJAN brought out our inner innovators and creators.
And now, as I stand on the threshold of my journey as a 2018-2022 batch student in the Electrical and Electronics department, I can’t help but cherish the roller coaster ride of memories I’ve had so far. Living in the welcoming girls’ hostel during my first year, I forged incredible friendships and cherished a strong bond with our caring warden and friendly guards.
The faculty at LNCT deserves a special mention – they’ve been my pillars of support pillars. Even as a non-IT student, the college supported me and helped me secure a placement at Rakuten Symphony, a prestigious IT company. They guided me during the placement interviews and provided a smooth onboarding experience.
What’s even more astounding is that LNCT has achieved a record-high placement in 2022, with the highest package reaching a staggering 1.12 Crore per annum! With more than 90% of students getting placed on campus, LNCT truly lives up to its reputation for shaping bright futures.
