jQuery UI Autocomplete response Event

jQuery UI consists of GUI widgets, visual effects, and themes implemented using HTML, CSS, and jQuery. jQuery UI is great for building UI interfaces for the webpages. The jQuery UI Autocomplete widget is used to perform autocomplete enables to quickly find and select from a pre-populated list of values as they type, leveraging searching and filtering.

The jQuery UI Autocomplete response event is used to trigger after a search completes before the menu is shown. This event is useful for local manipulation of suggestion data, where a custom source option callback is not required.

Syntax:

Initialize the autocomplete with the response callback specified:

$( ".selector" ).autocomplete({
   response: function( event, ui ) {}
});

Bind an event listener to the autocompleteresponse event:

$( ".selector" ).on(
    "autocompleteresponse",
    function( event, ui ) {}
);

Parameters: It accepts a callback function that holds two parameters.
