Round 1: (Telephonic round)
A recruiter called me told me about an open position, and asked me to introduce myself and to tell me about my experience in automation. They were only looking for Robot framework and Python experience candidates with Git knowledge. I had the required experience so my next round was scheduled.
Round 2 : (Technical round 1)
This round was of 45 minutes for me and the level of questions was quite easy to medium level. Very basic core questions were asked on manual testing and few on automation like what are locators, implicit and explicit wait and I was asked to briefly explain my last project and my roles and responsibility
Round 3 : (Technical round 2)
This round was of 1 hour and it was medium to hard level. There were two interviewers and we first introduced ourselves and then i was asked questions based on Python, and OOPS, and then I was asked to write a code to find if a given year is a leap year or not.
Then the automation questions came in from the second interviewer, it was very precise and real-life scenarios. I was given a web page and was asked to write automation codes for it, like how to select elements from the drop-down, scroll page, wait for elements, handle tabs, cross-browser, etc, then I was asked core Git commands like clone, status, reset, pull-push and how we do it, why we do it.
Round 4: (HR round)
This round was short maybe 20 minutes where we discussed about client project and expectations and contract period and was mentioned that if performance was good they might give full-time position and finally some salary negotiation.
