The process for interviews started back in September when Infosys launched its InfyTQ program. I had to choose either Python or Java for my entire process.
Round 1: In the first round of InfyTQ there was MCQ on JAVA and DBMS and a couple of JAVA hands-on coding problems. I solved the MCQs and was able to complete one hands-on coding problem 100% and the other 40%. This exam took place in January. The question in this round was based on the following concepts:
- One question was related to the Subarray of an array
- One question was based on the Subsequences of a string
Round 2: Then I got the chance to appear for the InfyTQ Advantage round. For people who couldn’t clear the InfyTQ first round, HackWithInfy is a second chance to land a DSE of SP (formerly known as PP) role. The exam of HackWithInfy and InfyTQ takes place on the same day and same time. Mine was on the 6th of March, 2022. In the advantage round, there were 3 coding questions out of which I solved one 100% and the other one 40%, and couldn’t complete the third one.
The questions in this round included the following concepts:
- Sorting an array by interchanging adjacent Values
- Dynamic Programming
- BFS
Round 3: Finally I got my PPI opportunity in April and got my interview scheduled for May 10th, 2022. The entire process was smooth and we were asked for preferable time slots and suitable slots were allotted to us. On entering I was asked by the interviewer to introduce myself. Next, she asked me about my projects. I showed her my projects all from different domains like JAVA Software Development, Web Application, and Android apps.
Then she asked the following hr questions:
- What would you like to do in the next 5 years?
- Since you worked on so many tech stacks which one would you like to continue in your professional career?
- What are your weaknesses and strengths?
Result: Finally, I got my selection mail on 28th July 2022.
