IDrive Inc. is a US based fintech company which provides backup solution to its customers. The operations provided by the company is commendable in nature with having multiple of storages and options.
I received the job profile from one of their recruiters and had applied for the same. Within a week, the process was started and it took less than 2 weeks for its completion.
Stage 1
The initial round was a technical interview round lasting for about an hour which was based on Java and MySQL, mostly. The round comprised of DSA sort of questions where the thinking was judged. Topics in java included Strings, arrays, trees of medium difficulty. MySQL, I would say, was somewhat easier.
Stage 2
This also was a technical round of an hour duration, again focusing on DSA. Other topics included Springboot and Angular. This also was a medium difficulty level where some direct questions were asked of basic nature and some coding was performed.
Stage 3
The round was a techno-managerial round lasting for half an hour, mostly focusing on leadership and situation-handling abilities. The focus of this round was on problem-solving skills and some technical questions of easy level were discussed. Trickiest was the problem solving one, where one might get confused.
Stage 4
The final was the HR round of half an hour duration. The interview went smooth, starting from introduction and moving towards previous work experience and finally on the negotiation part.
The whole interview took about 10-12 days to complete and within the next 2-3 days, the offer was rolled out.
