HPE Interview Experience | On-Campus 2021

On 2 Nov, Hewlett Packard Enterprise GlobalSoft Pvt. Ltd. visited our college for an internship. The internship is of 6 months duration.

On 1st November, Hewlett Packard Enterprise visited my college campus for recruitment.



The hiring process had 4 parts in it-

ROUND 1(ONLINE ROUND): The test was divided into 3 sections-



ROUND 2(TECHNICAL ROUND): In this round the questions were based on my resume and my technical background. The questions were as follows:

  1. What all programming languages you  are aware of.
  2. Explain me about Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
  3. Tell about Keys concepts in DBMS.
  4. Tell about pointers.
  5. Asked about ACID properties of DBMS.
  6. What do you know about NORMALIZATION.
  7. Explain me about MODEM.
  8. (This question was tricky ) If your system or laptop’s sound is not functioning properly what will you do?  (Luckily, I was able to give correct answer)
  9. What do you about Networking.

After 3 days, we got the results, and I was selected for further rounds.

ROUND 3(MANAGERIAL ROUND): As I was shortlisted for this, one thing that was different for this role was that Managerial Round was more like a Technical Interview.  

 Questions asked were:

  1. Introduction in brief
  2. The interviewer asked me about my interest in Networking subject. I answered that I love to know about what is going on behind the scene when I type www.google.com.
  3. Asked about Network topologies.
  4. Tell about Encapsulation.
  5. Tell about Memory leakage.
  6. What would you prefer  Hard work or Smart work.

ROUND 4(HR ROUND): Firstly, the interviewer congratulated me for clearing all the rounds and asked  me about those experiences, then coming to the questions he asked the following:

  1. Introduce yourself in details.
  2. Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
  3. Asked about my project.
  4. What was your contribution towards the project.
  5. How would you see yourself in 10 years.
  6. Do you have any questions for us.

Then we had a discussion about my role and the day-to-day responsibilities.

After 10 days, the results were announced and I got selected for the Intern + Full-time role. And I was glad that I was the only one girl from the entire group of institutions to get selected.
