How to Change a Google Doc to Landscape on a Desktop

Step 1: Open the “Page Setup” menu

Go to your document, click ‘File’ at the top left, and open ‘Page Setup’ from there.

Step 2: Set the page orientation to landscape

A new popup Page setup window opens and at the second row under the orientation section change the orientation from Portrait to Landscape and click on OK to apply the changes to the document as shown below:

Select Landscape

Note that the above-mentioned setting will be applied to the whole document and all the pages present in your document. If you want to apply the landscape to that particular page follow the below steps.

How to Change a Google Doc to Landscape on Mobile

Step 1: Open the “Page Setup” menu

Click on the pencil icon at the bottom right of the screen as shown below which enables you to edit the document after you click on that you will be able to edit the document

Next on the top right corner click three dots and you will be able to see the page setup option as shown below

Step 2: Set the page orientation to landscape

A new window named page setup appears as shown below and in the first option under orientation choose landscape and the orientation is changed successfully.

Step 3: Choose Landscape

Note that you won’t be able to see any difference even tough you have changed the orientation it is because you are viewing it on a small screen if you want to see the change just click on the same three dots and toggle on the ‘Print layout’ option as shown below and you can see the difference it has changed to landscape.
