How to Install OpenShot Video Editor on Windows?

Award-winning OpenShot Video Editor is a free video editor that runs on Linux, Mac, and Windows. Beautiful videos, movies, and animations can be made using OpenShot. All thanks to its user-friendly interface and robust feature set. It has different features which support Linux and windows. It also has the ability to support different types of video formats and audio formats. In this article, we will learn how to install OpenShot Video Editor on Windows. 

Installation of OpenShot Video Editor 

Step 1: Go to openshort.com and click on the download button. An exe file name OpenShot.exe will be downloaded.



 

Step 2: Run the OpenShot.exe file and the system automatically opens the installation page.

 

Step 3: You would see, two radio buttons, I accept the agreement and I do not accept the agreement Accept terms and conditions for installation. Click on the Next button. 



 

Step 4: Select the destination location where you want to install OpenShot. For example, C:\Program Files\OpenShot Video Editor or click on the Browse button, to add a custom path. Click on the Next button. 

 

Step 5: Check the box, if you want to create the desktop shortcut for OpenShot. Click on the Next button. 

 

Step 6: Ok, Now the system says you are ready to install the OpenShot. Click on the Install button. 

 

Step 7: Now, the OpenShotVideo editor will be installed, in your system.
