Factset visited our college in July 2021. There were four rounds in total.1 online test, 2 coding rounds, Director round.
Round 1(Written Online Test): This test was a total of nine questions.
- This test was based on coding and CS fundamentals
- 2 coding questions – which should be written in only 1 language of your choice
- 1 SQL query – medium-level query.
- 1 coding question which should be written only in java
- 5 MCQs – questions on min-heap, complexity, networks, OS.
- Thes test duration was 100 minutes.
- You can switch between sections and a specific time slot is allocated for each section
- This test was conducted on 12th July 2021.
- The results were declared on the same day.
Round 2(Technical Round 1): This was conducted on 13th July 2021.
- This was hosted on Hackerrank Lobby (A platform where the Interviewer should allow you to join and can have a video conference along with the interviewer and the question is displayed on the screen along with the editor ).
- The solution for each question should be discussed first and later the code should be written explaining each step.
- Brute force solutions are not entertained. You need to come with the optimal solution and explain them before going to the coding part.

- This round lasted for one and a half to two hrs.
Round 3(Technical Round 2): This round was conducted with a half an hour to forty-five minutes gap from the previous round on the same day.
- This round was also hosted on Hackerrank Lobby.

- This round lasted for two hrs.
- After this round, I got a mail later saying that I will have the director round in an hour.
Round 4(Director Round): This round was more focused on my skills, personality, and projects done. This round was hosted on Microsoft Teams on the same day.

The final selected list was mailed on the same day.243 students participated in the drive and I am the only one selected for round 3 and finally received the offer from Factset.
