Expedia’s General Selection Procedure:
- Resume Shortlisting
- Affinity Strength Assessment Test
- Coding Assessment
- Technical interview
ROUND 1: Resume Shortlisting:
- Keep your resume simple yet clearly describing your projects and past work.
ROUND 2: Capfinnity Strength Assessment Test: 45 mins
It is a strength-based assessment looking for a candidate aligned with Expedia’s values and principles. It was a 45 mins round, scenario based questions were asked where we need to record our reaction on a scale of 1 to 10. This was an elimination round too, so be careful when answering the questions.
Feedback report send to candidate telling what were strengths and weaknesses.
ROUND 3: Coding Assessment: 60 mins: HackerRank-based test which was around 60 mins.
- It had 6 MCQs and 2 Coding questions.
- MCQs were based on DSA concepts, OS, and OOPs and were easy ones.
- Coding questions were on a range of Easy- Medium of Leetcode.
Online Technical Interviews were Scheduled
ROUND 4: Technical and HR Interview: 60 mins each
Interviews were conducted in Online mode and HackerRank professional IDE. The interviews were scheduled back to back.
- Interview Round 1: The Interviewer was an SDE 2 at the Gurgaon office he introduced himself and asked me to introduce myself. Then he jumped on coding questions:

- 2 arrays are given one is children’s hunger and other and other is the cookie’s capacity to satisfy hunger. How many children can satisfy their hunger?
- Interview Round 2: Interviewer asked me to introduce myself and jumped right in with coding questions:
- Merge sorted linked list
- Construct a Min Stack using vector
The results came in 2 days and I was one of the selects
