Cimpress India Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Nomination Criteria:

Cimpress recently conducted its on-campus recruitment process, seeking bright talents for the tech world. Here’s a concise overview:

Eligibility Criteria:

Selected candidates are set to join Cimpress after the completion of their 8th semester.



The Selection Process:

Approximately 200-230 students participated.

  1. The assessment featured three questions – two easy and one medium level – with a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  2. The assessment took place on the HackerEarth platform and covered topics such as stacks, simple loops, and 2D arrays.

Spanned approximately 2-2.5 hours.



  1. The interviewer created a comfortable environment and started with basic questions, gradually progressing to more complex topics such as recursion and tree data structures.
  2. I was asked over 10 coding questions, involving trees, recursions, and sorting algorithms, with an emphasis on coding, dry runs, and time complexity explanations.
  3. The interview also included questions about Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, requiring candidates to implement interfaces, understand inheritance, and demonstrate overloading and overriding.

My first interview was very good, I was able to answer a maximum of the questions.

The second interview, lasting about an hour, centered on the candidate’s resume.

  1. Discussion topics included their projects, the tech stack they used, and in-depth queries about MYSQL, DBMS, OOP, and development.

The final HR round, lasting for half an hour, was conducted in a friendly manner.

  1. The HR representative initiated discussions about hobbies, achievements, and academic performance, and introduced candidates to Cimpress and its work culture.
  2. Candidates were asked about their motivations for joining the company, and some behavioral questions were included.

Two days later, the results were announced, and I with 6 students was selected.
