CGI Interview Experience Software Engineer

I recently participated in the CGI campus placement drive, which consisted of two rounds: an MCQ with coding round, and a technical round. Here is a detailed description of my experience.

Round 1: MCQ with Coding Round

The first round was an online test that consisted of 60 multiple-choice questions and 2 coding questions. The MCQs covered topics such as programming concepts, database management, algorithms, and data structures. The coding questions were of moderate difficulty and were based on string manipulation and array sorting.

Round 2: Technical Round

After clearing the MCQ round, I was invited for a technical interview. The interviewer started by asking me to introduce myself and then went on to ask me questions about my coding skills, programming concepts, and approach to problem-solving. The questions ranged from basic programming concepts to advanced algorithms and data structures. I was also asked to write code to solve a few programming problems on the spot.

Overall, the interview process was challenging but fair. The technical questions were well thought-out, and the interviewers were supportive and encouraging. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in the interview process and look forward to hearing back from CGI.
