CEDCOSS Technologies Interview Experience For Associate Software Engineer

So, this company visited my college for a pre-placement talk, which lasted around 2 hours. Before this, we had an aptitude test, and only those who qualified for the online test were eligible for the talk. On that day, we underwent the HR round, which was conducted by three different HR representatives due to the large number of students. It extended until 8 pm.

A few days later, the selected students had their online technical interview. We were asked to write simple codes and answer questions on DBMS, sorting, searching queues, and stacks. Afterwards, there was a machine round comprising two coding questions to be solved within 60 minutes.



Those who could solve at least one out of two questions proceeded to the final face-to-face technical interview, which took place in the office and lasted around 1 hour. This interview focused solely on technical aspects, covering topics from our resumes, projects, HTML, JavaScript, data structures, DBMS, and SQL, and involved three medium-level coding questions, where we were asked to explain our approach on pen and paper with rough pseudo code.

After this rigorous process, three students from my college were selected. We underwent document verification and received an intent letter. We were all thrilled. However, a few months later, we received a call from HR informing us that due to unforeseen circumstances, they couldn’t offer us the joining as planned, and the joinings were postponed indefinitely.



The HR also mentioned that they had informed our college to allow us to participate in other placement drives. Overall, it was quite an experience.
