BRCM College of Engineering and Technology Campus Experience

I am telling you about my experience at BRCM in the College of Engineering and Technology, Bahal, Bhiwani, Haryana.

I entered the course in 2016, Computer Science and Engineering, and I passed out in 2020. So, it was a four-year course.

Fees: Talking about the college, it is a private college, and the fees are midway. Like, it is not super expensive, and it is not super cheap.

Campus: The campus is really good. Like, it is very well-built and very well-organized.

Student Count: The strength was not good when I joined. The students were less. So, the campus is good, but the rooms are almost always empty because there are not many students.

Other Facilities: The canteen is there in the college, and the swimming pool and other sports complexes, gyms, shops, etc., are there in the college. But, as it is in a remote location, you can’t go anywhere else. Like, there are no nearby places like movie theatres or other facilities are not there.

Teachers: The faculty is really good. Like, they are well-qualified. They teach you well. They take regular classes. 10 on 10 on that thing.

Co-Curricular Activities: If you consider fun activities, the fun activities are not much there. Although, there are societies for different branches like the Computer Science Engineering Society, and Mechanical Engineer Society. They organize many events from time to time, but their frequency is very low and participation is not great from the student side.

Fests & Parties: There are fresher parties, farewell parties, and a few occasional other parties as well. They are good. They offer to stay in the hostel for the party days also.

College Vibe: If you are considering fun activities like hanging out in the college and other things, you will not be satisfied because they are very strict with their policies regarding attendance. So, you have to attend classes and submit assignments.

Career Opportunities: Job opportunities are midway there. Not great. Not bad. Companies visit, but there are very few that offer beginner-level packages that are not very promising. But they are good to start with. Once you get going, you can find your way in the IT sector and grow.
