BinaryDots Work Experience Flutter Developer (Intern)

Embarking on my internship as a Flutter developer at BinaryDots Private Limited felt like plunging into a vast pool without knowing how to swim. The initial challenge thrown my way was a head-scratcher – a pre-existing project with a maze of confusing code. Armed with just two days, I had the daunting task of deciphering the issues and finding solutions. There were moments when I feared my first day might also be my last, but, against the odds, I cracked the code and triumphantly solved the puzzle. Phew!

The storyline took an interesting turn when dealing with my coordinator at BinaryDots Private Limited. As an intern, seeking guidance was crucial, yet each plea for help was met with a curt “I don’t have time; I hired you to solve problems” response. This dynamic created an atmosphere that felt a bit toxic, and unfortunately, it didn’t ease up as time progressed.

Surviving the initial challenge only marked the beginning, as subsequent tasks at BinaryDots escalated in complexity. Picture this – being tasked with crafting 10 visually striking screens in just two days. Balancing this Herculean feat with my ongoing sixth-semester college commitments felt akin to being confined in a high-pressure jail cell.

However, amidst the challenges and occasional bouts of self-doubt, I emerged from this experience with a treasure trove of lessons. I acquired the art of handling intense pressure, mastering tight deadlines, and navigating through less-than-ideal situations. It was like undergoing a crash course in resilience and adaptability.

Reflecting on those whirlwind two months at BinaryDots Private Limited, it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions – at times intimidating, at others exhilarating. The journey wasn’t flawless, but in the end, I not only survived but thrived. This rollercoaster of an internship turned out to be a wild ride that taught me invaluable lessons, ones I wouldn’t have gained through any other means.

It’s important to note that not all companies operate in a similar fashion. In my case, it felt like my bad luck to end up in a company with such a challenging environment.
