Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata Admission Experience

This article will help you to choose the right college for you and especially for those who couldn’t be able to make it to tiers 1 & 2 and now searching for tier 3 colleges.

I will try to keep this article short and only highlight the main points.

So it all started in August when all competitive results, rolled out and from that, I got to know that I would not get into any tiers 1 & 2 colleges with this rank that was a hard time for me but I don’t get weak I started searching colleges with my desired rank I searched a lot on google and other website too. finally, I got a college with a decent NAAC rank and infrastructure. college’s name is Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata, the college has a decent structure with two big buildings both the buildings have their library, own canteen and labs, they have a big playground too. Both the buildings have Wi-Fi connections.

After that I started searching for that particular college senior on LinkedIn, I got connected with them after that they told me about the college, placement stats, professor’s behaviours, teachers & faculty support, fees, etc. as it was a private college me with my mom & dad visited that college my parents also asked the locals there about the college, they had also given a positive review about the college.

Also, at the college visiting time some students were there with their parents taking admission, so my parents talked with them also. As it was a private college no interview or test was taken, they only saw my class X & XII academic credentials and offered me a seat in CSE (ai & ml) After 2 days I got admitted to that college.

The main thing is that you have to be satisfied with the college you choose as you have to spend your life most precious 4 years there and there is no coming back, first get to know about yourself you had to be clear with your branch that you are going to take and why you want to take that branch don’t take pressures from others because after 4 years there is only you no one is going to help you except your parents and that’s the reality also check the college fees as most of us middle -class family can’t able to afford lakhs we have to take a loan for that so be peaceful and choose your college and path wisely.
