Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a private university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It was founded in 1992 by Achyuta Samanta. KIIT is one of the top universities in India and offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. KIIT University offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission to KIIT is based on the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE). KIITEE is a national-level entrance exam conducted by KIIT for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The eligibility criteria for KIITEE are as follows:

The application fee is free for all types of category candidates. The KIITEE exam is conducted in two phases. The first phase is the online exam and the second phase is the offline exam. The online exam is conducted in January and the offline exam is conducted in April. The results of KIITEE will be declared in May. The shortlisted candidates are then called for counseling. The counseling process is conducted in two rounds. In the first round, the candidates are allotted seats based on their rank in KIITEE. In the second round, the candidates are allotted seats based on their choice of courses and their availability. The admission process at KIIT is a competitive process.
