Amantya Technologies Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2023

In the month of August, Amantya Technologies came to our campus for the Software Engineer/Trainee role. The requirements were 7+ CGPA in UG & 60% in both 10th and 12th standards. The hiring process consists of 1 aptitude test + 1 technical test + 2 interviews. The recruiting team was somewhat late because instead of starting from PPT, they directly jumped to the aptitude test. Both aptitude & technical were taken on the Xobin platform(xobin.com).

Aptitude Test:



At around 12 p.m., the link for the aptitude test was mailed to all the registered students. The aptitude test consists of 3 Sections and is a total of 40 minutes.

The questions were easy to medium level. Time Management is the key to success for this round. As mentioned above, the test duration was 40 minutes.



90 students were shortlisted on the basis of this test.

Technical Test:

After shortlisting, the technical test started at about 2 p.m. There were separate tests for the candidates on the choice of programming languages (C++/Java). I opted for C++. The test consists of some deep concepts of C++ language and OOPs concepts. The test consists of 30 questions and 30 minutes were given for completion of the test.

After this round, the PPT was organized by the company leads and only the list of shortlisted candidates was shared with us. Around 30 candidates were shortlisted for Interviews.

Technical Interview:

From 4 p.m., the technical interviews were started. I had to wait longer for my turn. At about 6 p.m. my turn for interview came. The interviewer was very friendly. On entering the room, he offered me water and ask me to be comfortable. Then we started with our introductions. After that, he told me to rate myself on scale of 10 for proficiency in C++ language. I rated myself somewhat between 7.5 to 8. Then, he started with first question.

He asked me to explain Memory Map of C program. I explained that. Then we dicuss Storage classes in C++. After these questions he gives me a code, which was basically an illustration of application of static keyword. Then dicuss over some OOPs concept like Inheritance, Polymorphism, and Virtual Function.

Then he asked me to write code for finding minimum and second minimum element from the given array. I explained an approach with O(n) space. Then he want me to suggest some space optimization. Then i came up with an inplace solution. Then he asked me to suggest the best data structure to implement stacks and queues.

That was the ending of technical interview. He asked me if i have any question for him. I asked some questions about technologies and work culture. The interview lasts for around 35 to 40 minutes.

HR Interview:

HR interview was organised for all the candidates who had given technical interview. This was very chill round. I went into the room. The interviewer greeted me and asked me to sit. Then we started with our introduction. We had discussion over my projects that were mentioned in the resume for about 8 to 10 minutes. Then she asked some genral hr question. Like:

This interview lasts for about 15 to 20 minutes.

On next day, the result was announced. 6 students were selected out of 30 students. My name was there in the list of 6 students. This was the moment of immense pleasure for me.
