Round 1 – Online Assessment
In first round of assessment consisted of:
- 8 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which include the MCQ on OS, DBMS, Shell Scripting, and Reasoning.
- 1 medium-level SQL query involving JOIN operations.
- 3 challenging coding questions.
Round 2 – Technical Interview 1 (virtual)
This round basically conducted online. The interview covered the following topics:
- Introduction.
- Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as inheritance, association, aggregation, composition, and polymorphism, with examples.
- Operating system concepts, including processes, threads, and caching.
- Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) questions, such as Valid Parentheses, LinkedList loop detection, Tree height, and a Binary Search-related question.
She was impressed by my academics and my understanding of concepts.
This interview lasted for 1Hr to 1:15 min.
Round 3 – Technical Interview 2 (Offline)
This round is conducted by the interviewer by asking only DSA and 2-3 questions on SQL and OS.
Two of them are hard-level question
- All Path of sum tree
- LFU Cache implementation.
The interviewer asked you to write the code for the 1st question and explain in detail what you are doing in that code. For the second question, he asked me to explain the approach which data structure you are going to use and what purpose.
Up till this round, I reached one last remaining which was the HR round.
My experience suggests that candidates should prepare thoroughly for SQL, OS, and DBMS, including in-depth knowledge. Additionally, having strong project experience is crucial. Just to stay calm and answer the questions confidently. Practice and hard work paid off. Believe in yourself.
