What is the value of cosec(90° – A) × (1/secA) – cosAsecA?

Solution:

cosec(90°- A) × (1/ sec A) – cosAsecA 

= secA × (1/secA) – cosAsecA [ cosec(90°- A) = sec A]

= secA/secA – cosAsecA

= secAcosA – cosAsecA   [1/secA = cosA]

               = (1/2 × 3) – (5 × 4)

               = 3/2 – 20

               = (3 – 40) / 2

               = -37/2

So, the value for sin(A – B) is -37/2
