Solution:

Step 1: Simplify the number into simple fraction 3/5.

The number is already in its simple form 3/5.

Step 2 Remove the denominator 5.

3/5= 0.6.

Step 3 If the number is not in the decimal form it is an integer, further classify it among natural, whole, and integer.

.6 is in decimal form.

Hence, 3/5 is not a whole number. 

Round it off to the nearest whole number, the digit after the decimal is greater than 5, hence it will be rounded up to the next whole number i.e. 1

Hence, whole number of 3/5 will be 1.
