Brief Introduction
My college is UIET, Chandigarh which is known as the University Institute Of Engineering and Technology. This is the Engineering Department of Panjab University. It is a Tier One college and currently at NIRF Ranking of 72nd. The atmosphere of this college is good but the faculty are just decent. But overall, there is so much fun as It is located in the beautiful city of Chandigarh.
First Year of College
I could not tell you about my first year because we were suffering with online classes due to covid at that time. We arrived on the campus at the beginning of the fourth semester’s minors. That’s why we cannot enjoy that much in that semester. But the election time of Panjab University is the golden time of the whole year as you get chilled up and start participating in different party or fest that makes you crazy all time. You will get plenty of time to celebrate and enjoy the holidays. And you can also enjoy a summer vacation in Uttarakhand and a winter vacation in Manali or Shimla as both destinations are pretty much near Chandigarh. A lot of Colleagues do motor vlogging during these holidays. The weather of Chandigarh is also one of the most attractive features for it.
Final Year and Placements
During the Final year, you can sit into the placements and the TPC of the college will take care of each student very effectively. The average package of the college is approx. 9 LPA during the 2022-2023 session where 4 Students crack the Amazon at 45 LPA. More than 120+ companies reached out to the college to provide more than 400+ offers to students.
