TCS ninja registrations started on July 16th 2021. Test was on 9th September.
The test included the following sections:-
- Verbal ability (24 question – 30 min)
- Reasoning (30 question – 50 min)
- Numerical (26 question – 40 min)
- Programming Logic (10 question – 15 min)
- Coding 1 (1 question – 15 min)
- Coding 2 (1 question – 30 min)
Each section is in auto submit format, i.e. once submitted it is not possible to go back and change or review the questions. Each question is timed, 1 to 2 minutes based on the complexity level. A built in calculator and notepad was present.
I received the result on about 20 days after the exam. They have provided around 2 weeks of time for the preparation. Then the interview was held over Microsoft Teams and the link was provided 24 hrs before.
At the Interview , there were two judges taking my Interview.
The Question that were asked in the Interview are:-
Question related to: The language in which I’m friendly, I replied C++ then they move forward with that.
- Secondly, they about OOPs concept like :
- Polymorphism
- Inheritance
- Class, Object
- Encapsulation
- Data abstraction.
- What are different types of variable used in C++.
- How Python and C++ are related.
- Is there any common properties between Python and C++, list out them.
- Why Python is more friendly than C++.
- Why C++ is better than C.
- Different types of inheritance.
- Asked me to write the Multiple and Multilevel inheritance Code.
This are the basic questions asked in the panelist then came for the HR questions. These were some common hr questions like my strength. Nothing complex was asked. He then asked me the following questions.
- Are you willing to relocate
- Are you okay in working on different technology?
- How would you encourage your teammates to complete the target.
Lastly, they asked me to email my documents like semester results, 10th result and 12th result.
After around 2 weeks I got the offer letter from TCS.
Overall it was easy for me. You just have to be confident with your answers and communicate openly to the interviewers.
