In Scala mutable collection, subsetOf() method is utilised to test if a SortedSet is a subSortedSet of another SortedSet.
Method Definition: subsetOf(that: SortedSet[A]): Boolean
Return Type: It returns true if a SortedSet is subset of another SortedSet else it returns false.
Example #1:
// Scala program of subsetOf() method import scala.collection.mutable.SortedSet
// Creating object object GfG
{ // Main method
def main(args : Array[String])
{
// Creating a SortedSet
val s 1 = SortedSet( 4 , 12 , 2 , 31 )
val s 2 = SortedSet( 4 , 12 )
// Applying subSortedSetOf method
val result = s 2 .subsetOf(s 1 )
// Display output
println(result)
}
} |
Output:
true
Example #2:
// Scala program of subsetOf() // method import scala.collection.mutable.SortedSet
// Creating object object GfG
{ // Main method
def main(args : Array[String])
{
// Creating a SortedSet
val s 1 = SortedSet( 4 , 12 , 2 , 31 )
val s 2 = SortedSet( 4 , 12 )
// Applying subSortedSetOf method
val result = s 1 .subsetOf(s 2 )
// Display output
println(result)
}
} |
Output:
false
