Experience:
The entrance gate gave me a goosebumps kind of feeling. I was with my father and with my friend along with her uncle at the entrance gate. Security checked our both names in the list and gave us the way to enter the campus. We both were in the car and after seeing all the infrastructure of the campus we gave eye contact with each other and were excited to join the campus. As mentioned in the rules of reporting, we need to report at sharp 9:00 am but our fathers made us appear near the gate at 6:00 am only, it’s just “Indian Parents Things”. We waited almost 3 hours in one of the sir’s cabins which is relative to my friend. And the time was over we were in the queue almost for an hour along with our parents. As we both were from a private institution in schooling having an A-Certificate in Nation Cadet Corps(NCC) made us have a hope to secure our seats on the campus. I met a few strangers in one of the classes where we seated for certificate verification. Again it took me one more hour to call off my name from the list. My friend’s verification was done before mine. I was soo feared when I went near all the delegates in the other room, who was busy checking all the certificates. The process was soo clean and went normal and I completed my verification of all the certificates. I came out at 12 pm because I was the last person to be verified. All the delegates went for their lunch and came back at 2 pm to announce the final list of the persons who are selected. We were in the car and were too hungry. At 2:30 pm the announcement of the list has been started. There were 15 candidates selected in the NCC category. My friend’s name was in the 10th position on the list. My father and I were so nervous that I might not get a seat on campus. But by god’s grace, I was at the 14th position in the list and I thought I was destined to study here.
All the students who were selected sat in a classroom and one teacher guided us through all the rules and regulations of the campus. We were so happy and excited. The process has been completed by paying 5000 rupees in the Academic Section. They said us to report on July 2nd,2018. We went out of the campus at 4 pm.
Criteria of Selection:
- The selection was based on the 10th standard grade, Caste category, and Certifications ( Sports, NCC ) when I went for admission.
- They checked our performance in the 10th standard and as I was an NCC candidate they checked my certifications in NCC.
Process of Admission:
- After the selection list, we need to fill in our details in a form along with our photocopy and our parent’s photocopy.
- They will provide us with an ID card and a Parent ID card.
- We need to submit all our original certificates and the 10th short memo in Academic Section called AB-3.
- We need to pay 5000 rupees in the beginning.
- The scholarship will be given to students whose parents are not government employees.
- Global seats are also available after all the phases.
- A scholarship of 40,000 will be provided by the TS Government to all the students which will be moved directly to the campus treasury and used for the welfare of the students.
Course:
- It’s a 6 years Integrated Course(Intermediate+ B. Tech).
- In Intermediate so-called Pre University Course (PUC) will be of 2 years in M.P.C(Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
- Based on the score in PUC-1 and PUC-2, the students can choose their preference in the B. Tech branches.
- There are 7 Branches(Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electric and Electronic Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering).
- After the B. Tech, there will be on-campus drives where they selected the smart and intelligent champs for the companies with good packages.
