Poornima College Of Engineering Fest Experience (AADHAR)

Hello Everyone!

Today I want to express my Team journey where we are 3 Members to build a project for the biggest fest of my college “Poornima College Of Engineering” name is “AADHAR”.

Our journey started in the middle of the electronics lab at our college, amidst a tangle of wires and parts. It was a quest for invention that went beyond the parameters of our course, not just a project. We set out on a mission to build something exceptional for our dedicated farmers, driven by a curious spark.

We have decided to create an initiative that will benefit nurseries and farmers alike. But we are not as motivated to construct it. However, we completed the project when our lecturers made us.

First, we decided to consider the working method. When we brought this up to our electrical lab teacher, he suggested—and asked—that we add an animal-detecting sensor and a genuine clock time solar panel to our project to make it more visually appealing. so we began to consider it, and after two or three days of research, we succeeded in making it.

Initially, we used Tharmacol to create a structural model of the project and attached a pipe to support it.

We will now add a panel that can move concerning the sun. That required us to code in the C++ language, which my friend and I wrote. There were a lot of mistakes in our code when we first wrote it, but after spending a lot of effort, we fixed it. and place inside the ESP 32 NODE MCU. Next, a moisture sensor is added to measure the amount of moisture in the soil, and a solar-powered lightbulb is attached to make the lightbulb glow.

We lost the entire 30 days and many attendances during this process. We truly sacrificed many nights on the journey, but when our prototype was ready to go on display, we were quite happy.

This is our opportunity to present our project to the judges of the AADHAR festival. When we showed them our project, they were impressed and said, “You were very talented because a first-year student never made such a project.” We were overjoyed to hear these remarks.

Then, a week later, the results were in, and we achieved 1st rank in our college’s annual competition for the best innovative idea. And awarded 2100 rupees by the College.

Following that, we decided to present our proposal at external events and register for VIT Vellore’s “YOGAMI YOUTH INDIA” festival. The first award in the event is 1.5 lac, the second is 75k, and the third is 50k. We have currently passed their IMAGINE phase and DO phase rounds. We must now present our project to them on May 5 and they will announce it on May 12. And we hope that we will receive positive results regarding that.

And this is the brief, innovative trip we are on. And expect that we carry out our idea into the fourth year and file for a patent.
