The SplFileInfo::getExtension() function is an inbuilt function of Standard PHP Library (SPL) in PHP which is used to get the file extension.
Syntax:
string SplFileInfo::getExtension( void )
Parameters: This function does not accept any parameter.
Return Value: This function returns the string containing the extension of file.
