Oracle arrived here with two profiles: server technologies and application development. Both profiles took the same Online Test.
Online Test: There were 10 questions on the online test, and we had 90 minutes to answer them.
- The first question was a Coding Question(Medium)
- The second question was related to development in which we had to retrieve data from an API.
- The third one was on SQL query.
- And the remaining 7 were easy coding MCQs.
I was able to clear this round and The shortlisted candidates were called for interviews.
Technical Interview(Round-1): The Interviews were online on-campus, It started with a basic introduction and they jumped straight to questions. The interviewer asked around 3 Data structures and algorithm questions:-:-
After DSA they asked 2 puzzles:
- Puzzle-1: A frog was at the bottom of a well that is 30 feet deep. It jumps 3 feet each day and falls back 2 feet each day. How many days will it take to reach the top?
- Puzzle-2:100 people in a circle with gun
I was able to clear this round.
Technical Interview(Round-2): The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and about my hobby. After that, he asked for a brief introduction to the projects that I have done. Then he asked me for a puzzle:
- Puzzle: A person had some chocolates. he distributed these chocolates among 25 children in such a way that he gave one chocolate to the first child, 3 chocolates to the second child, 5 chocolates to the third child, and so on till the 25th child. find the number of chocolates the person had. write a mathematical property to support your answer.
