Synopsis – Apple even warned their users during the outage that Game Center, iCloud Web Apps, Weather, and Apple Card are facing issues and the people using these services will have to wait as they may be “slow and unavailable”.
Apple suffered an outage on Monday, where many Apple services including App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, etc were under outage due to DNS issues. This was the first one after which few people again suffered the outage just a day after that spread across many Apple services. Although, the issues were sorted very fast and the Apple page issued a disclaimer of all the services are working properly but few services like Apple Podcasts, Apple Music, the App Store, and Books were still down for a few hours on Tuesday night as well.
After the issue arrived, several users reported the same on various social media platforms. The users reported issues regarding not being able to use Apple music and trouble in updating or downloading the applications from the app store.
Apple even warned their users during the outage that Game Center, iCloud Web Apps, Weather, and Apple Card are facing issues and the people using these services will have to wait as they may be “slow and unavailable.”
But now the issues have been resolved and the applications are running quite properly. According to a report, 21 applications and services of Apple were under problem but currently, all of them are marked green which is all the issues have been resolved.
Also, according to Downdetector.com, there was a spike in the outage and it was around 3 AM IST (Wednesday).
However, the outage issue was found everywhere around the world but the most affected country was the United States, where mostly everyone faced the issue. Talking about India the major problems which were faced by people were in the Apple’s App Store and people were not able to update or download any application.
Apart from Tuesday, on Monday also 11 services were hampered, which included Arcade and Maps, Apple Books, iCloud Web Apps, Weather, Apple Card, etc, More than 4000 users reported the issue and after that, the company told the staff to address the same and also fixed the root cause of the outage which was domain name system or DNS issue.
