MAQ Software visited VIT for campus placements and only CS and IT branches could apply. There were 3 rounds of selection.
Round 1: Online Assessment
- The assessment was conducted on the mettl platform.
- The duration of the assessment was 90 minutes and it had 2 sections.
- The first section had 30 MCQs to be done in 30 minutes.
- In the second section, 4 problems were given to be solved in 60 minutes.
The Problems were:
- Minimum steps to reach the end of the matrix
- Student report
- Longest Increasing Subsequence
- I do not remember this problem.
Only 25 people were shortlisted for round 2 and I was among them.
Round 2: Technical Interview: The interview lasted for about 30 minutes. First I was asked to introduce myself and then we discussed my project.
- First, he asked me about the problems faced during the project then he asked me questions on Java (my project was Java-based), and OOPS.
- After that, I was given 2 coding problems,
I was able to solve both of them and then at the end of the interview, he asked about this puzzle.
Round 3: HM Round: The interview lasted for about 40 minutes. He didn’t ask for any introduction and started directly with the situation-based questions.
After asking 3-4 situation-based questions, he asked me 2 puzzles.
In the end, he asked me to tell him about the company and how can I contribute to the company.
